The name “Block & Grinder” signifies the philosophy of everything under one roof culminating in a true “Butcher Block to Grinder” steak burger, cooked to perfection and ground in-house daily. Every meat selection at the butcher counter and on the menu is hand-cut by Block & Grinder staff. Corned Beef and Pastrami is brined, steamed, smoked, trimmed and cut in-house.

Now taking orders for Thanksgiving Turkeys, Pies, and more

It’s that time of the year again! We have Joyce Farms All-Natural Turkeys available in sizes ranging from 10-14lbs and 16-20lbs. We have limited availability due to the demand and uber-freshness of these beautiful birds, so please call Cotswold or Langtree today to reserve yours for pickup.

If a larger size is what you’re seeking, please call us and we will do us best to source it for you.

We are also offering Pumpkin and Apple Pies along with our famous 3 Cheese Mac and Cheese and our Local Market Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette.  All sides serve 8-10 and pies are standard sizes.

The cut-off date for ordering is Thursday, November 17th.

Congrats to our pastry Chef jossie for winning big at the nc chef showdown in raleigh

Jossie is a proud and new addition to our team, taking over sous chef and pastry chef duties at Langtree, and soon at Cotswold as well. Recently, she took home a trio of awards at the North Carolina Chef Showdown in Raleigh. Her dish ” The Peanut Garden” won: Most Creative Plating & Best Use Of a NC Ingredient. These two awards eventually led to her being named “Pastry Chef Of The Year” at nights end. We are excited for Jossie and her future at B&G!

New hours in cotswold and langtree!

We are no longer open on Mondays at Both Locations. Langtree is now serving lunch Tues-Saturday at 11:30am and Sunday brunch from 10:30am-2:30pm.
